I finally tried it out with the time limited 1 month license (like 10 Euro or something). Within two days i had a gunnery score of 100%, was commanding two tank platoons with mechanized infantry attached, and blowing up t-80s at 1.8 kilometers distance. Yeah it sure *is* hard to survive an engagement, but the basics are easy to learn, and it's great fun if you're looking for a good battlefield atmosphere and some realism.
